I have an idea for the hide, why not put something over one of the corners...as in a piece of wood or something covering one of the corners - resting on the tops of the corner...does that make sense? There would be no sides to climb...it would be a bit like a shelter, where he is covered but can walk in and out. But no sides to climb...
(you can then rub your hands with glee and say ...get out of THAT one!) xx
