Grinding pellets?
Hi, just wondered if anyone grinds pellets up and sprinkles it over the weeds? Is there any benefit to this or better just to soak?
I dont have any pellets but thinking about maybe introducing over the winter. I'm lucky and seems to always have a good weed supply, but during winter weeds are limited and wanted to offer more variety or pep up the romaine lol

Alan has done this in the past, but I think that was due to the fact they didn't like that particular pellet.
If you were going to feed pellets I'd feed them on there own, with weeds/salad on other days with nutrobal/limestone flour as a supplemement. |

yes that's correct, it was a pepper grinder ball thing that you squeeze the handles of. They like the t-rex pellets though so just get them on their own 2 or 3 times a week (soaked)

Thanks so much, i was concerned that she might prefer the pellets and then not eat the weeds when offered. Will have a look and see which ones to get.

I would add to keep both diets going, don't over feed the pellets, small amount's at first one teaspoon full, this can be altered/increased as both diet's are excepted. Even a no feed day after a pellet feed can be used. This has worked for me, i can feed both diets together now.
