Robert Downey Jr was another Hollywood star..who was into the drugs and alcohol.
Was widely reported on. Was in and out of rehab a lot. Mugshots all over the net for all sorts of drug charges.
But he licked it. And now he's Ironman.
It can be done..and he had all the fame & fortune.
It's not to say he won't relapse...I hope not. But I like reading about people that have overcome it and gone on to do good in their lives & career.
I mean he was a right junky late 80s early 90s.
But fair play to him. xx

Trouble is when you got all the money, fame and know how - there's no boundaries as there is with Joe public. If they want something - illegal or not - someone will get it to them. Look at Jacko, and Whitney, and Anna Nicole.

Your so right , they have the money, therefore there's nothing to stop them, and I wonder if despite all the money and fame, if they actually lonely.

Yeah could be Suze... Which is why I ask why Phillip did this. 3 children, a partner, won an Oscar so the career is great.
He wasn't a down and out on skid row. Sad. xx

Yes it happens a lot to famous folk it would seem, I pretty much don't know one actor from another, I'd never heard of this guy. I know a few real big timers like Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster. Quite often it's the singers who die from such things, Sid and Nancy, Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse and loads more

Glad I'm not the only one who hadn't heard of him!

Seems though that he had a fair amount of drugs stored away in his house.
