They are lovely, but can i ask why they are named hingebacks? Is there a reason for the name? Obviously leopards and redfoots etc are called that because of their appearance, but was just wondering about hingebacks.

Our other females.
The one on the right is 20years old, the other is also quite mature but exact age unknown .
