Oh I thought the lowest it could be was 20, I thought they might go into hibernation mode sort of thing if it was too cold at night

This is a myth, put out by inexperienced keepers, who think human not tortoise.
In the wild temps go even lower at night:0)
The only temps outside is when there is a threat of frost frost can kill.

I wouldn't let my torts night time temps go below 16c as it takes longer for them to warm up and get going, you do what you feel comfortable doing, it's up to you as it is up to me, whether we put human emotion (quote) into it is a natural thing x

I think I would feel more comfortable with them having some heat source if they want it if not they can always move away I'm just so aware of how cold my house is and I don't wan them to catch a cold or anything might sound silly but I'm a little scared if that as I've read they can get pneumonia x
