hi all

i have owned my tortoise for about 10 yrs now, he lives in the uk with my daughters.
i have lived in spain for just over 5yrs and have 2 horses.

i have many questions as my tortoise has moved from one daughter to the others home due to circumstances.
he has always lived free in the house with his own cupboard with special heating and light during the colder months and outside during the summer.
he will now have a tortoise table/cage for the colder months and i am considering getting a combined lamp for him.
but really do not know much bout them or the size table/cage he will need.

Your question about the lighting and tables etc might have already been covered in the housing section, you can use the search function for specific topics or you can post your own question in the relevent areas too, there is always someone around who will help.

Generally the bigger the table you can make for the size of area you have the better, and also the rabbit type cages are generally too small for the combined uv and heat lamps.
