UPDATE: Couldn't get pix yesterday, as my roommate had borrowed my camera, but I will today. I spent most of Sunday attaching a wire apron to the dogs' side of the fence -- attached to the fence w/ heavy wire staples, and then staked into the ground 2 feet out. On top of that, went 16" square concrete pavers. I am fairly sure this will discourage Hannah!

Of course, we're having a ridiculous cold spell, so the S. U.S. is colder than the UK! Grump. Hopefully it will warm up soon! Both hibiscus bushes were killed in the freeze and will have to be replaced, so I'm not planting anything else until I'm SURE spring is here!!

Pix of the new dog-proofing:

Of course, it's still WAY too cold for Beasley to go out (after our weeks of 85F it's now barely making it out of the 50s!). But at least this is done!

Thanks! I will NEVER jinx it and say that "nuthin' could get through that," but I do think it is sufficiently solid that Hannah will give up.

I am also going to get caulk and caulk the tiny little cracks in the privacy fence so there is no WAY Hannah can see Beasley. Yet another trip to Lowes!! (Our home center here).
