Failing that you can always try rolling back to a date before your experienced this problem.

Have you tried doing the rollback/system restore thingy?

You click on the start button then go to help & support. Then pick undo changes to your computer with system restore> then restore my computer to an earlier time> then pick a date from calender prior to when you had problems & set it to run. Then switch off the options to automatically instore updates.

A few months back I experienced problems with MSN after doing an update. Like you I had tried all the suggestions & only a system restore would work. Then a few weeks later I done all the updates & it was OK.

my OH (he's a techy) says sometimes the updates have bugs which causes problems to MSN.
