Took 10 mins of scraping and defrosting my car this morning before I could drive it but no sign of snow down here It always makes me smile to hear people saying 'stick' whereas we say 'settle' down here! Wonder where the cut-off point is????????

I want snow, but think its way too cold.
The road gritters have been out tonight and yesterday we had loads of hail.

Well apparently snow didn't come to much at home, but I was working only 15 mile away today and it was really coming down and stuck. Roads were awful - no grit put down, and to top it off my car heaters broke on saturday and not been able to book in til this friday due to apts. So I've been driving round with one of those hand held zapper heaters you use for camping plugged in ciggy lighter, wafting it over the windscreen so I can see!
Not looking forward to the frosty start tomorrow |

I wish it would snow here. My son text me last night from Herts and it was snowing there. It is freezing though. Took the dog for a walk at 10pm and it was so slippery, the gritters had not been out.
