What is this and I can I feed it to my Hermann?
Hi
Found shed loads of this in the car park outside my house and wondered what it is and more importantly whether it is safe to feed to my Hermann. I don't think it's a weed as it is an area of purpose planted shrubs in the parking area but that about as much information as I can provide. Cheers

Could be Hebe. Does it flower? Lots of very small purple flowers on one stem? Could you take a wider shot of it so I can see how it grows. Is it a bush?

I have seen purple flowers on it (I thought it was a stray bluebell!), but I have just Googled Hebe and don't think its that as the leaves are too big and the flowers are a different shape. The leaves are about 1.5 inchs long.
I will get some more photos, including the flowers and post them up to help. Cheers for your help.

I thought Hebe as well. A lot of supermarkets and municipal premises' car parks have planted Hebe because they are so hardy and take little maintenance. There are a few types of Hebe and the one I think is the one in the photo could be this:

Pic 3 and 5, the orange flowers are calendula or marigold is edible.
Pic 4 is cleavers, also edible. Pic 2 looks like bleeding heart, not edible but not 100% sure on that.
