Mole Hill Soil
Is it safe to use mole hill soil for a tortoise table?
It's lovely and fine and free from debris etc... I'm not using soil atm for various reasons, but I intend giving it another try soon. My last bag was from a garden centre and there was a lot of sticks and stones in it. I'm not going to add any sand this time as that was one of the reasons I didn't like using soil/sand, mornings there would be sand around Marley's eyes and that worried me a bit. Edit... thank you |

it won't be sterilised but then neither is the stuff in our gardens so it may well be okay. the only thing that it might be is a bit cloggy and muddy if wet but other than that it will be good quality topsoil since moles don't go down too deep
