My Tunisian Spur-Thigh " Miles " Acting strangely..
I've only seen him do it once, but was very scary to witness. He was literally asleep in the corner of his viv.. i want over to have a look at him, his head was fairly deep into his shell, then all of a sudden he started kind of spazzing out like he was having a nightmare or something?? his head staring moving strangely quite fast and his mouth was opening like he was dreaming.. i was truely alarmed when it happened so i picked him up, and it stopped straight the way.. Was just wondering wether anyone has any advice on what this is or wether tortoises do actually dream?
Thank you, Adam. |

Hi adam, glad he seems to be ok now.
As I said in chat my first thought was that he may have something stuck in his mouth. I would give him a bath to give him the chance to have a drink. |
