Gosh you were lucky to get it erected in all that wind, especially where you are.
Looking amazing.

My goodness that is stunning. I have massive shed envy. You could get two and have bi folding doors, but to be honest that is one hell of a shed for torts ! keep sharing pickies won't you. Now the shed needs a name ! CB

Just a little update.. I've been busy at work but managed to get a bit done.
I've gone round all windows and gaps outside with a weatherproof caulk. I've insulated the walls with 40mm PIR board. (kingspan/celotex) I've also insulated the floor with 25mm PIR board. I've got to install 50mm in the ceiling . I've used Osb on the floor as I'm going to put a floor covering on top. which I'm still undecided about yet. I've still to board it all in. I will create a door for the torts to go outside. but for now it will be boarded up. |

All that work- brilliant. It has given me an idea for my outbuilding. Although the torts have a house within the outbuilding it did get cold over the winter and I putting insulation around their house, but I like this idea too, especially if we have a really severe winter.

oh super job and nice photos ! do you know what this thread is missing though ? More photos !! keep them coming. love seeing the progress. Some hand painted tortoise drawings are always good also - doesn't matter how good or bad , pictures always mark an opening and are there to show the date of completion to look back on ! CB
