susannah my rehomer
This is my 4 year old male ibera. I've had him about 3 months. I know he's bumpy but I still love him. He's settled really well and always stomping about. Just thought i'd share some new pic's. Poor quality cos on my phone.

I love it when theyre nosey. Yesterday I was stroking Mrs Oscar under her chin - she was in her table & docile, Phoebe came over to see what was going on & after trying to eat my nails then decided she'd headbut me, 3 times! it was so funny, (ive never seen Hermans do that) dont know if it was because the hand hadnt got food or if it was cus it wasnt stroking her!

See folk that know i've got torts all take the piss saying they are rubbish pets. But they do interact with you. This one follows my son's feet when he's out and about. It's very funny watching a 3 year old being chased by a tiny 10cm tortoise!

I do hope so Clare. He lived in a viv which i've nothing against but it was very very dry and he was fed very few weeds along with fruit and veg. He's loving his more humid table, baths and variety of weeds and pellets. He went nuts for cuttle fish the first month I had him but think we've got his diet sorted now. Surprisingly he'll eat anything I give him so it's been so easy

He is a lovely tortoise and as Clare said the bumps will get less noticeable now that his diet and husbandary have changed. I rehomed one about 3 years ago and he was a bit bumpy but he has definately become more smooth, he will never be perfect but who is
