New name for Eddie
Right. Since it's a new year and the old one was poo I want a new start. So i'm gonna change Eddie's name. He really struggled settling in and has finally become comfty in his new home. So i'm looking for something a bit more special for him. Something that reflects how ancient and knowledgable and mysterious he is. I look at him and see millions of years of growth and evolution in his eyes. He deserves a name to honour this. Any suggestions welcome...
Thanks x

Hi I have checked Wickipedia for the name for a wise old man, the result being SENEX, SAGE OR SOPHOS.
hope these names give you food for thought regards Sue |

Ooh i'm liking Senex. Has an air of ancient royalty about it. And I like the fact it means Sage. Just found out Davy's granddad was called Eddie and my dad's tortoise when he was a boy (sadly died in hibernation like so many others back in the day). So it's got a more ancestoral meaning now which is what I was after. Asked my son and he said Papa, so he's not getting the final choice. x
