Sorry but £150 for 2 ft x 2ft seems steep to me.... and £230 verging on the ridiculous. Wonder how many they sell at for that.

it does seem expensive and doesnt look like you can fit much stuff in it. probs perfect for hatchlings but i wouldnt think its suitable for adults

I have to say its not practical, my horsfield hated it, not deep enough for him he always wanted to dig, and couldn't, but the babies love it, and my daughter loved it on Xmas morning, and it is cute, anyone who comes in just loves it. Definitely not for older torts

I agree it's not practical for the older torts or larger species, but it does have the wow factor our tort is out growing it that's why it's up for sale

how does it work for UVB and heat bulbs? I only see one light fitting and it's not one that takes a mercury vapour bulb by the looks of it

The light fitting is for a basking bulb, and I use an Arcadia compact uv bulb which I had to drill holes for to attach. It really is a very cosy house for the babies and Courtney almost died when she saw it on Christmas morning.

it originally only came with a fitting for a heat bulb but I've put a peice of baton to hold the UV tube.
