can some advise me please?
Hi Im a newbie here Ive been lurking a few days trying to pick up some tips
Ive been offered a horsefield Tort who was bought about 4 months ago at a local petshop (I havnt had him yet) Hopefully in the next week I will hes been kept in a viv and obviously by the pic Ive seen he hasnt been bathed (he still has a green mark on his shell that the petshop use to identify the torts) I need to ask how best to keep him Ive bought a tort table off Sarahs ebay shop and and combined lamp But I was really wondering would he be ok to go outside right away? will he be warm enough after living in a viv for so long? or would it be best to just put him out during the day and bring him back inside at night? until he gets used to it I understand the problems with petshop torts and tbh Im willing to give the little guy a home I feel so sorry for him Thanks |

Hi Mervs Mummy, I am no expert, but if it was me I would bring the tort back in at night for I while until he gets use to it, but please listen to experts who will offer you advice.

I agree with all the above! I'm bringing my horsfield in at night at the moment as it's quite
chilly, and also on miserable days. What a rubbish summer!! |
