i have a similar problem with my 2 kittens, because they are just kittens they are so enquizitive (is that spelled right? im useless at spelling) they will always try and sniff the 2 torts when i have them out, but ONLY when i am right there - just incase!!!! id never take any chances with torts and other animals.

hope your tort is doing well now?

Default Shellie

hope all goes well and she makes a full recovery i never let my dogs get to close to my tortoises or even allow them to share the same area of garden.. but tortoises are quite resilient and strong little shelled warriors

He is doing great thanks!!! and no, I never let my dogs near him either - it was a stupid mistake made by my son, that I KNOW he will never repeat

I will get some updated pics on asap - he is fine - I wanted the shell to grow back, but I don't think it will and as he is small and still growing - filling the gaps would only be painful for him
