when a tort has septasemia is it just the shell that goes that colour or does the skin change too?

i hope wiggle is ok.
i no it must be hard for you having no transport but is there no 1 that could give you a lift if you offered petrol money?

Sarah the skin can change too and get very red, usually in the back leg pockets and the back legs.

thankyou danny. how do they get it in the first place do they have to have an open wound to let infection in?

I would guess...it depends on the original cause...I am sure I have seen it linked to mbd....subsequent multiple organ failure. I have known of cases with keepers, where only the affected torts sytem is compromised.
