Ok Arcadia 12%, do you all use a reflector with it? What watt bulb do you use for heat?

I had a combined bulb that blew and I needed a replacement quickly. I bought mine in my local reptile shop as didn't want to wait for delivery.

I'm using the Arcadia D3 flood - comes complete with reflector and ballast
http://www.reptiles.swelluk.com/rept...od-375071.html Saves having to buy a separate ballast for your tube etc. That is one good thing about the combined bulbs - they don't need a ballast unit

Yes, I use reflectors with all mine. I use different watt bulbs depending on the time of year. I have 40w to 100w here. I've never needed anything higher than a 100w bulb, even in the depths of winter.

See the new tort arrived Does he/he have a name yet? If your bulb was new it should be "under warranty" so worth checking to see if you can get a replacement
