Nice flat plastron, short tail, looks like you have a lil girl. 4 years old would be easier to tell, or a vet can DNA test if your are desperate to know. Not sure what s/species tho.

I'm going with male and T.g.ibera.
You can't DNA test a young tortoise for sex. It only works once a tortoise is adult and producing hormones and by that time you can visually tell the sex of the tortoise. Danny

I'm a clinical genetic biologist, you can test to sex by reading the telomer indicators which are repetitive regions in the chromosomes, but that would be a complex test for a vet who as Danny indicates would simply look for hormonal matches.
But I still reckon you have a lil girl. Could you add a pic side on looking at the plastron - so we can see how concave it is? & btw, the pics of her with legs just a blur are very cute, someone didn't like lying on her back!! J

Thanks J, there's no concave at all as yet.
You should've seen her head after I took the picture it was flying all over the place, definately didn't like it, i'm sure she had a head ache lol. Think i'll just have to wait until she/he's bigger to see what she is, still a wee sandra to me
