Oh wow, that looks fab!! I love it I would love to get one of these for when the torts come to stay with us at the caravan so they can go outside but I don't think the plastic sheet would hold the soil if I needed to move it. Ive got my dad on the case lol xx

Hey Joanne, i've bought another one and my hubby is making a bottom for ours so we can take it to the caravan. He said about putting somthing like the sides onto the bottom and attaching the ground sheet to it. I'll let you know how he gets on!!

Looks very good. I really should buy this sandpit while they still on offer. How did you make the lid, did you use the parts of the sandpit to attach the mesh?
And I will second the advice, torts are masters of escape move stuff away from the sides of enclosure.

HI Torterra
There are 2 bits of wood that are for the kids to sit on which attach to the top, we used this to make the lid with wire mesh to keep the pests out!! I always keep the lid down so no chance of the wee woman escaping just yet. Carla x
