Default Are your torties affectionate?

My hermanns is very friendly and she loves sitting on my tummy having a fuss. She will quite happily go off to sleep like this. She also comes when I call her and if I'm working about near her table she follows me around and then tries to climb out and just won't settle until I get her out to sit with me. I find it so endearing that she trusts me and wants to be with me like this. Are your hermanns this friendly, loving and affectionate?

My very old Hermann Sammy is very affectionate, if I sit on the garden he will always come and find me and snuggle up next to me, he likes a to be gently stroked around his face and his shell.

I used to have a Hermann's that no matter what time of day (or how asleep she was) would wake up if my OH played guitar, and would have to come and wander about, she would only settle when she was as close as she could be to him!!!

My Horsfield's are really friendly (particularly my little boy, Misha), he will always come over to "talk" to me, loves attention! Even my little Amber likes attention (but she prefers my OH!!)

Mine love some attention and fuss too. I tend not to have them out of the table too much in the house, but when I go to talk to them they always come over for a stroke. Probably because they think I've got food, but I like to think its because they love their mummy.

My little ones inside always come 'running' up to me but its usually for a chomp of one of my fingers...

The older rehomers like being tickled under the chin and on top of the head. Or I think they do anyway!

I was once ridiculed on this forum for saying things like you are all saying. But I know my adult tort loves to sit on my lap. Even if he is eating he will come over if I sit down. I was told it was because he wanted food but he does it when he's eating so work that one out.
