to be honest I don't really think he should be having pellets as I was told hay, grass etc but he didn't have a very good appetite when I got him and I was worried. The pellets do seem to have worked though but I hope eventualy he'll be on a bit more natural diet, at the moment he's not even keen on sitting on grass let alone eating it. I don't know his sex yet but just refer to him/her as a him, he can be a really grumpy, sulky little man especially on the days he doesn't get any pellets, he gives me the dirtiest look and goes into a corner with his back to me, or else just turns and goes back to bed.

I like to listen to what my tortoises tell me. From the looks of it you are doing quite well as is. It is a very nice looking tortoise.
