Default nasty weather

Hard frost overnight and 2 degrees C at noon. Horrible cold rain coming in at 45 degrees in the wind. It's making me grumpy cos my garden isn't growing. Even the plantains are dormant. Roll on March; even if it rains every day there will be weeds for the livestock!

I know the feeling, Jonathan. My weed patch is looking very sorry for itself, though we don't get the extreme temperatures you have up in Scotland.
Roll on the spring and the growth of lots of fresh lush weeds again.

Yes - I'm the same as Gordon, weeds galore and some spring flowers. However, we have had so much rain it is miserable. Usually I try to think no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes, but this winter has been constant mud and local flooding. Fortunately waterlogged land and not houses.

It's even very cold and wet here today, but as the other southern softies have said, there are quite a few weeds about, the plantain don't seem to have gone away this winter, just as well cos I got two more up today.

What a difference a day makes the sky is blue the birds are singing think it could be a nice day to get out and do some tortoise pen maintenance.
