I love these photos. It looks as if you're making them work to get to their food.

I do that to my chickens and pop treats up high so they have to exercise and fly to reach them.

They all love to climb don't they? My lot are always at it.

Yes, they a still climbing, think they like the extra space

and I'd love to have chickens they are right characters and do they enjoy their treat after working hard for them Emma? Lol x

Yes, they do, but chickens are as batty as anything. The first hen to fly up and get a treat then gets chased by the others and they try to whip it out of her beak instead of flying up to get some for themselves. They are definitely characters and fun to watch.

Occasionally I give them some spaghetti or pasta and they look hilarious running around with a bit of spaghetti dangling from their beaks and the others racing behind them. All they need is the Benny Hill theme tune.

hahaha brilliant, you know many non torte keepers think tortes just sit around then crawl to bed and are slow all the time, its just not the case as we all kno they are very active at times

They sound great characters Emma, maybe one day I can own a chicken or two, I know they are quite friendly x
