Ooh, they are lucky and will enjoy the extra space and being able to dig down in the substrate tomorrow.

They have a beautiful brown colour on their shells - what sort of torts are they?

I'm sure they must be very curious, mine always explore even when I just tidy up. Do your golden star get outside much ( thinking of our British summers) or do they need a really warm day.

Hi suze, it needs to be a lot warmer for them then it has been, they only been outside twice and it's nearly the end of June, I put Zeus out a few weeks ago and it turned cloudy and chilly and as a result he developed a runny nose! They are a lot more sensitive to the temperature than my horsfields, I thought I shut all my horsfields in the shed for the night a whilst back and then found Roxy in some bushes in the morning, and the temp outside was 10c now if that had been one of my goldens they would be really ill after x

I thought they might need higher temps, a bit like all the N African torts, they seem to develop RNS if it's too cool, where as all my lot being European Meds and your Horsies can cope with quite cool cloudy days. Which is handy, as they go out from March sometimes on good days.
