where abouts in cambridge are you, all my family live there and my parents are at cherryhinton where I grew up, I had a pony when I was a child and kept him at Teversham, he looks a lovely cob and I always like to see a nice cob hogged.

South Cambs I know where Cherryhinton is and have friends in Teversham. Do you still ride now? Aww thank you very much, he's sooo lovely, and yes he did used to have a mane, but it was nightmare, so thick and wiry, I much prefer him hogged, a proper hunter! :P

I gave it up when my daughter started, she competed untill she was 18 eventing and showjumping, hubby has worked with both thoroughbred stud horse and dressage, I miss that world very much. My old pont used to be kept a Mr White's in teversham I know he went over to breeding eventers but don't know whether he still has any horses he must be old now I'm in my 50's if he's still alive. My school freind worked for Mrs Gingell then her daughter Angela at the Horningsea hunt kennels for many years, she now teaches dressage. You can't beat a good cob my daughters best pony was an apalloosa cob and he did everything and was hogged like yours, anyway I'm of to bed now but its nice to talk horses.

Oh he's GORGEOUS! I don't ride anymore, sadly, but I did for about 2-3 months. The pony I rode was 110% a nightmare Anyway, I have some questions:
1. How many Hands High is Flash? 2. Do you keep him at your own home? 3. Do you ride western or english? 4. What discipline is he good at? 5. What brand of food does he eat? 6. What breed is he? I'm guessing British Spotted. 7. What inspired you to start riding? 8. Have you had any horses before Flash, how many? Thanks!

awwww how adorable are those piccy's Miller07!!! What a cutie, and your little girl too!
In answer to your questions EB: Flash is 15.2hh. He's not kept at my own home he's kept at livery local to me. I ride English all the way lol! Flash is a good all rounder really, I mainly hack out on him as there are lots of lovely routes near us and he's happiest out racing with one of my friends! However, I do also school him and do a bit of jumping. I don't feed a particular brand, he's out on grass all summer with the odd mixed feed and winter again hay/haylage and nuts/oats (not to many or he pulls my arms out!) and a mix. Flash is just a cob, not British spotted, he's mostly of English blood, but with a lot of Welsh cob too! My mum grew up on a small holding with her own horses (very lucky girl) and got me into riding, have been riding since I was 4. I loaned a little Dartmoor pony called Jack before I got too big for him and moved onto Flash. Jack was a super pony, he was only 12.2hh but we jumped 4ft with ease! I do miss him very much and he was sadly put down a few months ago by his new owners How come you're not riding anymore?? x |

Thanks for answering my questions I don't ride anymore as the girl I went riding with stopped riding so I couldn't get a lift up. And Honey, the pony I rode, was one of those ponies who kick, and do the opposite of everything. The yard owners certainly made a mistake thinking he was a suitable beginners pony!
