Thanks everyone, I'm glad you don't think I'm too over-excited if you've all gone through the same with your first tortoise! I bet you're all the same with every one that you get, I know I would be :P

I think I'm really going to enjoy being a torty mum...Will be different having something not furry and so small (I have a very big and hairy horse)!! Fun though!!

Yeah unisex names, my boyfriend's got a few funny ideas

I have fallen in love!! I pick my new baby tortoise up on Saturday morning, so I hope you'll all help in wishing the rest of this week will go fast! :P

I shall upload photo's as soon as I've got him or her so you can all see. He/she loves being tickled under the chin, is eating well and looks very healthy. Even met the mum and dad too!

I really can't Miller07!! Saturday won't come soon enough for me!! :P I don't want to harass my boyfriend too much either about building the tortie table, but I'm itching to get making it, so I can put my substrate in, plants, bridges, rocks, hides, I want the tortoise to have lots of exploring to do!

Have you had any luck at finding a tortoise yet??

Oh Bet the next few days will drag for you especially Friday =/ Yeah I found one about a week ago lol not due to hatch till mid July though so won't get mine until late July - August time =/ so I have a while to wait yet, sure it will be worth it though and gives me plenty of time to get everything ready =D Tell him it needs doing today as you need to let the soil rest or something like that LOL what species of Hermann you getting? x

I know lol, and I'm already so bored at work, did all my work way too quickly!
Awww I bet you're so excited to get it! But like you said it gives you plenty of time to buy everything you need and make everything perfect! And it will be sooo worth it! Are you going to go visit once they've hatched? What are you getting?

Haha I want to but he loves his cricket training so instead I'm going to the pet shop to buy the final bits and bobs and will instead sit there looking at those, plus I hope my sw shop seeds arrive soon so I can plant them! I've told my boyfriend to be round straight after work on Thursday to get building haha!

It's a young TBH hatchling ever so ever so cute!!

I'm getting a THB as well =D hopefully go to see them all when they've hatched so I can choose mine. The breeder said he will let me know when they've hatched so just gotta wait now. Men and their sports lol Have you got any slate for your table? Just asking as there's a site where you can get up to 4 free samples that are big enough to feed the tort off. I got mine ready and they only took a couple of days to come. http://www.direct-stone-tiles.com/tiles/slate =D
