Petpaks don't own the reptile place, it's a private owner. I love going there to look round, even tho' it's not very big.
I don't live in Walden, I'm in a little village about 5 miles away. Like you I'd be prepared to travel if the right breeder came up. I might ring Cambridge Reptiles (Hardwick) and ask if it's correct that they breed their own tortoises. Last time I went there they had one wee horsfield all on his own and quite a few Hermanns. Yes I do know where Bar Hill is. I remember when Tesco's first came there and it was like a huge warehouse, not quite the same as nowadays!!

Ah ok then, yeah I think I might pop there at the weekend so I'll report back to you if I find anything out
Yes, it's vital you find the right breeder, so it would be worth a journey. Last edited by em7070; 11-06-2010 at 01:03 PM. |

Hey Miller07, welcome to you too then! It's nice to know there are forums where you can speak to other "torty" people and they'll offer you advice in a friendly way
Ive looked at a few breeders lists and have been in contact with one breeder, so fingers crossed! Are you hoping to buy a tortoise soon? |
