Just wondered does anyone trim or file their own tortoises beak down if they start to get too long? I'm taking my rehomer to the vets next week to have hers done (photo's in Pictures section)
Thanks

I haven't needed to, but I know some do. Your vet could show you how its done this time incase you have any that need it in the future.

I have used a large nail file to gently file an overgrown beak, just a little at a time so the tort didn't have a chance to get stressed.
