Hermanns Funny Habits :)
Hi All!
Do any of your Hermanns or Horsfields have funny habits that you've noticed? I've noticed that after Squirt has sufficiently dug himself into whichever bed he chooses for the night, he then spends about 30 seconds grinding his beak! After that you don't hear a peep out of him and he's in the land of nod! Very odd and very cute!  (It seems Squirt is looking to be female now so I'll really have to stop with the 'he', I feel so confused! I keep asking him to tell me what he is for definite and he just cocks his head at me!) |

Oooh how exciting! I see you've named them already. I bet you're so excited! I remember when I got Squirt, I was prepared for weeks!!
You'll love them! They really are the best pets, with fantastic personalities!

My horsfield always sleeps dug down into the corner with his butt up in the air
 Must be very comfortable!

Not a hermans but my redfoot does the strangest things! When his lights go off at night he always goes to the same spot to sleep then digs a little hole for his head and wiggles his bum until he is flat in the soil..!! It's so funny to watch. Sometimes he seems to tired and just sleeps with his bum sticking up!! Lol

Only Daisy.... she likes to sunbathe/nap during the day UNDER the Exo Terra thermometer.... eventually she buries herself under it.... here in the photos shes only just started getting comfy! She wriggles her arse down!
  I did read a funny habit once, think it might of been Caledonia/Alan's tort who moves a plant pot or something if its ever moved out of place... it has to be a certain place! Might go look for the video now

same here crush moves his little hidy hut so he can get in it from both ends, i keep putting it back up the corner and he will move it again so he can get in one side and out the other!
