Your basking spot and your UV should ideally be in the same place
is there any reason why ur using a red light Red lights dont really serve any purpose so i would remove it and replace it with a white spot bulb
I agree with Jo here

Also with changing your red bulb to a white spot you will give off more light, which may help to lighten the far end of the table, as light levels really help with activity.

Never mind, at least it will do as a spare bulb

86f to 88f it's to be I think on the floor under the bulb (about 30c-33c I think).

I saw someone more knowledgeable than me recommend a reflector so as not to 'waste' light so it should be a good idea.

By the way, do hey not try to chew that black cable you have in there? I let one of mine out to wander about the room while I changed the soil and caught him chomping the cable for his bulb!

Sky, the female did indeed have a bit of a beek which was taken care of today as i took them to the Vets. They came from a reptile store and acutally she already had it. So in the time between then and now i thought it was " normal " intill i acutally started doing proper research.

I admitly probably didnt have the best diet for them when i first got them either but once i did plenty and still doing research there diet is pretty spot on so mistakes were made but learnt from.

The cable is going to be screwed into postion today. It's a thermostat. They have ignored it so far but im having a lazy day as feeling rough so will keep an eye on them.

I do some work for a Vet who checked them out today. He's going to bring them in , in a few week's to start calculating to worm them.

Hi Jackie

I got them off a family that felt they could be looked after better as they did not have the room for anything bigger so i offerd to take look after them.

It was a very small vivarium so now they live in a 4ft x 2ft.
