DILEMMA!!
Well basically my son found a lovely male jack russell roaming with NO collar , he has been alover with his friends knocking on doors close by with no luck soo he's now with me happily running miles round the garden lol and bouncing on and off the trampoline with the kids, he seems to of been well fed but he's pining for his owners bless him, so he must be a loved pet to someone. Thing is i dont really want to take him to the local police station to be locked up in a kennel, so im asking for suggestions?
Iv printed flyers ready to be taken to my local petshop/p,office etc when they are back open tomorrow, anyone with any suggestions? |

What about phoning the local police just to ask if anyone has reported a lost dog?

Hi toni, yes im taking a trip down later to leave details with them etc, our local police station prefer founders to house them anyway while the owners come forward.

You could put an advert in the local paper.

one thing if you do get replies to your adverts please make sure they tell you something about the dog before seeing him any number of false people could come forward, they are sought after dogs and someone could be looking to make some money maybe he has somekind of marking etc thats unique to him or ask to see a photo of the missing dog, just a thought, Don,t put his photo on the posters etc or a to detailed description let them come up with those.
