Thanks for the support
linda I am using patches I wonder can you use 3 at a time lol I am trying to keep busy and change my routine, it was hard this morning with my cuppa so I just went out and bathed the torts which is much more fun than smoking anyway. I have a big project on at the moment building enclosures and am taking pics of it all so will post them when it's done.

Try keeping lots of healthy goodies in the fridge to snack on when temptation strikes, like carrot and pepper sticks, plenty to fruit etc. Save diving for the biccies
I am a hypocrite though 'cos I haven't managed to kick the habit lol...One day |

Ahhhh now this is a good thread for me to watch as I to want to give up the dreaded weed! I'm moving house very soon and going to Devon. I REALLY intend to give up, so will join you in a couple of weeks. I hope its going well for you and that you'll pass on any good tips that work for you. (I guess one would be not to use words like "tip" lol)
Regards and very good luck, Gary |

Good luck! I stopped in January, then put on 3/4 stone so started again. A week later I realized that smoking was much worse so I'm off them again - not weighed myself since, will concentrate on the weight when I'm over the cigs!

Good to hear you managed 24 hours! I'll suggest you keep busy, so you hardly have time to think about a cigerette! And don't buy any! If theres none in your house, you can't have any, where as if they are in your house, you could be tempted!

Well done Beverley stick at it, I also gave up end in the of January for about the 5th time, was tempted one sat night about a month ago and did have a couple with a drink it was soooo good BUT I knew I was only cheating my self so not had one since, it does get easier and cravings become less and less but they do have a habit of sneaking up on me when I think I've cracked it, thats my problem you can get complacent soo this time I'm trying to stick with it, have put nearly a stone on as well so gotta keep telling meself you put it on for a reason,, but I think realistically you gotta do that to get through it, just gotta cover up more for a while I do feel better for it can run up stairs now with out huffing and puffing and my legs used to ache a lot but they dont anymore,, and I smell nice
Hang in there DONT GIVE UP GIVING UP xxxxxxxxxx
