Thats fine! I just had to think about people who overwinter hibernating species and how they altered their feeding regime. But if you feed weeds only then thats the right option for you

At this point I feed pellets (Zoo Med Grassland) once a week mixed with a spot of cat food (Redfoots). The rest of the week weeds, vegies, fruits, springmix, etc..

This summer I'm thinking of not serving the grassland, thinking that they'll get by fine on the weeds in their enclosure, but I may try some occasional mazuri depending on how things go.

This is the first year I'm trying my adult female Ibera with pellets as well as her enclosure grazing/weeds etc mainly because I think it must take a lot from her laying up to 3 batches of eggs and thought the pellets might help replace some of the lost minerals/calcium etc. My male is also getting some as he looses quite a bit of weight this time of the year especially when its hot with his tearing around and trying to get in with her, he doesn't allow much time to eat, both torts though are fully grown adults and will use the extra food with laying and excersise they aren't inside or growing torts.
