Hi there! The only thing that I've noticed happening on this site now and again is (justifiable) differences of opinion (hey, that's life!), but they are dealt with in an adult fashion, put out in the open and discussed without personal insult. I think you'll like it here, welcome.

Hi, and welcome to SW! So sorry to hear about George - it's heartbreaking when you lose a much-loved pet, but you're on the right track now in getting a tort from Piglet - his tortoises are the best!

Thanks for the warm welcome! For lilacgeorge we're in Dublin
Hoping to get a red or 2 soon from piglet just waiting to hear back from him, not sure how or if we can transport him over to Dublin. I think if we get the ferry over and car we might be ok, anyway we'll figure it out im sure. Our tortoise table needs some torts! 8) |

Hi Michael and Madalina,
Welcome to Shelled Warriors. I have some of Piglets hatchlings (Iberas), I brought them over on the ferry through Holyhead and Dublin Ferry Port, on the back seat of car in a plastic storage tub full of hemp strapped in with the seat belt. I hope this helps. Ade
