by the way when you had the xray did they put your face in a machine and make you swallow lots? or was it just face in the machine, i remember having an xray a few years back and she kept telling me to swallow but i had nothing to swallow..was quite frustrating lol x

very nice teeth lol

here is a list of nhs dental charges

The three NHS charge bands are as follows:
  • Band 1: £16.50. This charge includes an examination, diagnosis and preventive advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, scale and polish and planning for further treatment.
  • Band 2: £45.60. This charge includes all the necessary treatment covered by the £16.50 charge, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment or extractions.
  • Band 3: £198. This charge includes all the necessary treatment that is covered by the £16.50 and £45.60 charges, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.

I had an xray on mine last thursday. My xray was done differently to yours. I had a camera in my mouth that I had to bite on. I'm not looking forward to going back have to have fillings and a crown I'm scared of dentist too. I didn't have to pay anything straight away, I will pay when all the treatment is over.
