What a shame. Lucky to get such good clear photos - you can show your vet exactly what the problem is Good luck Friday

Well that's not intestine thats prolapsed. It's also not her bladder or uterus either. It does though look like her lady bits that have prolapsed, which isn't really a problem as long as it goes back in.

Poor tort, but what Dan says sounds hopeful. Good luck with her Shaz.

Lady bits shouldn't be breaking eggs if they are shelled well. I'd more look to her not getting enough calcium to properly shell eggs. If she has MBD, she may still be putting calcium into her shell and other bones and not have much extra to shell eggs. If she has a favorite calcium source, than I'd let her have free reign with however much she wants.

Hello, i just wanted to let u know that as soon as she has laid these eggs, shes going in to have a implant put in to stop her laying eggs. He can remove her clit, but it will be harder than normal as they have to try and pull it out to remove it. Normally they only remove the when it gets stuck out, rather than trying to get prevent it getting stuck out. So were not going to do that just yet until she needs it done. She can still be hibernated too. implant will last 2-4 years. He said in time her shape may change and she might be able to lay eggs. With her MBD she might be putting too much calcium into her eggs and there for not helping herself, so stopping her laying will be best all round for her
