urgent advice needed please
Hi,
My two hermans have been in fridge hibernation for a month and I just did their evening check to find the fridge had failed and they've fully woken up (it was at 13degs)!! Does anyone have any advice as to what to do? Do we put them back in or keep them awake now? They normally have 3 months hibernation and I'm worried this will have totally upset their body clocks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! |

If you have a back up or this one is working again, it's perfectly fine to put them back in the fridge.

I think the general advise is once they are awake you should keep them awake but I am no expert, hopefully someone else will reply soon

Haha, that mirrors my dilemma,we do hav a back up-they'll fit if we have a large midnight snack... they're both extremely active which isn't like them this soon after waking up.

The decision has just been made for us,despite a thorough pre-hibernation winding down/starvation they have both decided to poo! So awake it is.
