Today is the day............
that I quit smoking. My last cig was at 11.30am and so far with the help of a nicotine patch and the nucig electronic cigarette I am doing well. 4 hours may not seem like a long time to many of you but believe me with my kids being off school 4 hours without a cigarette is a lifetime (Chris can vouch for my hectic household lol). Please keep your fingers crossed that I succeed this time.

I stopped about 14 or 16 years ago maybe, using patches. they do make it easier but if you stay away from pubs or parties or BBQ's or anywhere where there may be alcohol for about 3 months then it gives you a better chance. Alcohol makes you weak. My son has stopped I don't know how many times now and it ALWAYS comes to an end when ge goes to the pub

You have made the decision for a reason, just keep thinking of that reason and you will do it. It is easy to give in, but harder to keep strong. You have obviously been thinking long and hard about this. You know it is the right decision because that is why you've chosen it.
Keep strong and focused on your goal.
