Default First time Eggs

Hi everyone,

Last week my female ibera laid for the first time (completely unexpected). I have been reading the many posts on here and have been 'tinkering' with the set up to incubate the eggs. Thank you so much to everyone that has been sharing good practice because I have found it so useful.

When my hydrometer arrived, the humidity was 90%, I have since taken the water tray out, and humidity has dropped to around 70%. If it stays like this should I leave it without any water? I was thinking of only adding water if the humidity dropped. I have included a picture of my set up, does it look okay?

The eggs have been incubated for 11 days now, so I thought I would check to see if they are fertile. I haven't tried candeling them before, but have attached pictures of each egg. She did lay 5 but she broke 2 during the process. From what I have read I think they do look fertile, what do you guys think?

Yay! Thanks.

I thought so too, but they look more developed than I was expecting for 11 days.

Thank you! I am really excited and nervous at the same time. I have no experience in breeding and this is the first time my only female has ever laid eggs.

Do you all think the set up for the incubator is ok? Just concerned I have no water tray in there but the humidity is still 70%...
