Bolder's new home
As the last of the hatchlings have finally gone we managed to get Bolder's new house finished, its 6 x 4 ft so I hope it will last her a little while, I'll post a picture of her in it later on.

its hard to get an idea of just how big the table is in the bedroom, the sides are 12inches tall, the plants are spider plants and seem to do very well in tables. Bolder has a heat mat in her bedroom on a thermostat, I've put her in there and all she's done so far is go round and round and in and out of the bedroom. I tried to get some pansies and living salad leaves but couldn't find them so they'll have to be another day but there's plenty of room to put more plants in, the 'garden' corner has more soil than anywhere else so its deep enough.

That looks fantastic and very spacious. I have three various bulbs running in my enclosures too. Dread to think what the electricity bill will be like, lol :roll
But they're worth it x

there are two combines at the back and the light at the front is just a spot but does give some heat, I already had the combines so it makes sense to carry on at least for the time being. The bulbs are 160w, I was a bit concerned that as they are mounted on the wall their heat/light might have been to far to the back of the table but as the food/water etc is at the front I think it will work ok. I had to put anything I need to water/see to at the front as I can't reach the back, luckily Bolder only poo's in the bedroom and that's at the front as well so I shouldn't need to do much to the back area either that or grow longer arms. Maybe we'll think about going back to a 6ft uv strip across the middle and putting spots in the two holders instead of combines.
