Apples say 'feed in moderation' on tort table website and I would say a little fed infrequently will be ok. It's soft fruits and esp banana that's really bad and you will know that by what comes through as has been said. Overall fruit isn't good for any mediterranean species. Theres no need to give it when there's much better stuff available.
