The Leopards would be a new subspecies when named. They actually get bigger than Stigmochelys pardalis pardalis. They are found at the Northern limits of the range in Ethopia, Somalia, Djibouti and northeastern Kenya.
About the Asian brown tortoise
You should definately tell him he needs to keep him much wetter. He should be literally dripping wet and never that dry. He'll do much better if he is.
