Hi Vikki. I think it's worth saying that when plant matter dries out the material that is left is a lot more concentrated. Most of the water is gone but the bulk of matter is a lot less. The nutrient value of it isn't reduced all that much by drying but the size of it is.
For this reason I'm doubtful that drying food and feeding it would lead to slower growth.
