Rough grasses here in Ireland means scrub land. We go to a farm for ours but we don't pick the short rich grass in the fields. We pick the long grass that borders the fields along fences and ditches. It's the wild grass we pick not the grazing grass.

Their indoor house is about 15ftx10ft and they have our garden to roam.

In the winter we supplement them with hay and you can still get the rough grass if you look for it. Very occasionally if we are stuck we will throw them the odd cabbage or Kale head.
