Last summer I started growing my own grass mixes pretty successfully. My Sulky loved it so getting the 70% grass into his diet wasn't a problem.

Yes, that's what size I'd have expected. I would say he/she is only 8" long. (Will measure and weigh soon as I can) Eats/Sleeps/everything else fine.

I have an african spur thigh sulcata, I would like to know if anyone has similar age (approx. 9 years) what size they are as I think mine is too small for his age.

My Sulcata is about 9 years old, he still sleeps a lot! Temperature can make a big difference. Are you using sufficient UV?
