How to tell if shell is healthy?

Hi Guys,

I've had my tortoise for just over two weeks now. He is a horsefield tortoise.
I've noticed that on his shell he has some yellowish marks (maybe pale green) on some it just looks like the black has faded a little bit but on one bit it almost looks like they're bubbled marks on his shell. Does that make sense?
Is that normal, is he just growing or something?
He seems happy enough, he eats fine each day and is quite active for about five hours each night he is walking around or digging. All his stools have been solid he goes every time I soak him.
Is there anything to worry about or should I just continue as normal.

Hello, if the "bubbles" look like the picture in this link then they are normal and nothing to worry about :D

No they're no like that

if you can imagine you have held a light next to a piece of plastic and it begins to bubble.
It looks like that:?:

Here is the pic

It's not the best pic, for some reason it is stretched.
But can you see the light markings on the right hand side that look all bubbled.
Is this normal or is it something to be concerned about?

The natal part of the scutes always are textured like that, so not a thing to worry about.

I'm more worried about the reddish pink colour on the back of her carapace.

That's a relief thank you very much! I was really concerned. The red mark is where the pet shop marked him so we knew which one we were picking up the next day. I have been brushing it lightly when bathing him but it still hasn't all come off yet. Thanks for your help :)
