Lovely Suze. I watched it on the TV last night. You had a lovely day for it - today it's turned out cloudy and gloomy here.

Did you see any of the royals milling around?

It was amazing, I didn't go to the evening show, we were there during the day, but it was fantastic. It's still sunny and hot here today.

Lucky you, enjoy it - my torts are looking at me as if it's my fault the sun isn't out!

Suze what wonderful photographs. That dappled horse is gorgeous. I've ridden all over the world and English horses, (and Spanish) seem to be the best temperament even compared to Arab thorough breds, they are dicey. I'm jealous on your day out. CB

I am sooooo jealous - glad you obviously had a great day:)

If you love horses, Windsor horse show is a good one to go to, the spotty Ponies are the Appaloosa , I was keen to see this class. They do classes for all different breeds, depending on which day you go. Last year I saw the Conamara ponies, I like these because a friend of mine used to have one, and the moorland breeds were very interesting too, the Queen has breeding programs going on for our rare moorland breeds. The international showjumping was amazing, some of the best in the world were there, including our very own John Whittaker. I love watching the carriage driving as you can see, it's a three day event. And there usually a few Royals out and about, I saw the Queen last year, which I still haven't got over, the Countess of Wessex walked straight past me this year, and there were quite a few VIPs around this year. A fun day out in my book.
